In the UK we are part of the world-wide network helping to meet the needs of thousands of Jewish people across the FSU and Israel to alleviate their suffering.

At our containers in East Sussex and with a team of dedicated volunteers we collect, sort, pack boxes ready to be palleted by truck to Eastern Europe. With a co-base in Germany and main base in Ukraine aid is distributed. AID ALWAYS REACHES ITS DESTINATION through co-workers across the FSU.

AID COLLECTION

• SPOTLESS, CLEAN NEW& NEARLY NEW AID is always urgently needed and is collected all the year round and here are a few examples, but the list is endless for someone who has little or nothing:
• BABIES, CHILDREN & ADULTS - summer and winter clothes, shoes, gloves, hats & scarves, new underwear, cotton socks and tights.
• HOUSEHOLD LINEN such as blankets, duvets, sheets, towels, face flannels are always needed but must be in the very best condition.
• GENERAL HOUSEHOLD ITEMS e.g. toilet rolls, washing powder/liquid, nappies, disinfectants, hot water bottles, cutlery and cooking utensils.
• TOILETRIES of every kind for general and personal use – adults and older children incontinent pads.
• DISABILITY AIDS for walking and hearing
• MEDICAL EQUIPMENT - Always contact SHOFAR

AID IS POSTED OR DELIVERED TO CONTAINERS OR OFFICE - CONTACT SHOFAR BEFORE DELIVERING.
